Date, Ginger, Pecan and Oatmeal Cookies

In my quest to bake the perfect ginger biscuit, I wondered how an oatmeal cookie would taste if it were studded with glace ginger, pecans and dates? I pulled out a recipe for Oatmeal Cookies and went to work.



I did taste one as I've not baked these cookies before. They're not sufficiently ginger in taste for me but with a bit of tweaking I think they could taste even better.



I did have fun photographing them though.
